GEOTEC partner in new Erasmus+ project ENAble
We are glad to announce acceptance of a new 3-year EU Erasmus+ project entitled “ENAbLe”, in which we are going to cooperate with the University of Munster (Germany) and the University of Aveiro (Portugal) to improve ICT and spatial literacy skills of secondary school students. To achieve this goal, the ENAble team sets out to develop a toolbox of mobile educative apps to teach students relevant skills such as wayfinding, spatial orientation, map reading, etc. The apps will be well integrated in current curricula, immediately deployable by teachers, and most importantly, engaging for students. To this end, gamification and collaboration techniques will be applied. To ensure the viability and applicability of the developed solutions, the scientific partners will closely work together with several secondary schools, teachers education centers, government representatives and ESRI as an industrial technology providers, all of which form part of the strategic partnership set up for ENAble.
