#FirUJIciència 2018: #SUCRE and #virtualreality on stage

On March 22nd, GEOTEC has participated in the fourth edition of FirUJIciencia. More than sixty workshops have filled the sports hall of the Universitat Jaume I with science. GEOTEC’s five cents was a stand about “Electronic devices creation and programming “. There, we had the opportunity to show some of our projects to more than 2.200 students and teachers from primary and secondary school. Students were particularly interested in a head mounted display (Oculus Rift). GEOTEC showed other projects, like Sucre4Kids, where the students learn how to program using electronic components and a visual programming language.

The scientific fair has gathered at the Universitat Jaume I students and lecturers from more than thirty educational centres throughout the province who have had the opportunity to learn more about dinosaurs, urban waste, electromagnetism, meteorites, water or robots.
