The objective of the GeoDev Meetup in San Diego was uniting people interested in developing new ideas, in the context of GIS, using ESRI technology. It was a perfect place for networking and talking about development and exchanging experiences. In particular, Geotec’s Francisco Ramos introduced a spin-off company based in Spain, that combines emotions and technology (emotional-apps.com). We are in the early stages of the company, and we plan to use ArcGIS for sentiment analysis around the world. In conclusion, if you get the chance don’t doubt it; it is worthy to attend these Meetups.
