GEOTEC welcomes Geo-C PhD scholars!!
Next Sunday, September 13th, GEOTEC welcomes GEO-C project partners and PhD scholars in Castellón for a 2 weeks introductory seminar that marks the official start of the GEO-C joint doctoral research program (*).
During the 13th and 14th of September, GEO-C’s general guidelines will be explained during the Orientation Camp that will take place at the Voramar (Benicassim).
The following days, from 15th ‘til September 25th at Espaitec II, the Introductory Teaching Event will take off. It consists of a series of master classes covering topics relevant for GEO-C’s main theme “Geoinformatics: enabling open cities”: Geostatistics, Spatial Analysis, Mobile apps and sensors, Location-based services, Web and context-aware system, GIS, …
We would like to welcome all participants, and especially the five international PhD students that will join the GEOTEC group for a period of three years.
