Last Friday, November 25, the “Young Researchers” competition awards ceremony took place in the “Feria Destaca 2016” in Villarreal. Ignacio Miralles, a Ph.d. student at the Universitat Jaume I, component of the research group GEOTEC and of the “Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT)” was awarded the third place thanks to his proposal of “Smart Beetle” videogame.

Originality and innovation were indispensable requirement to qualify for the prizes for this contest, as well as the potential of the project to transfer to the world of industry and the clarity and empathy in the way and form of presentation. The aim of the competition for young researchers is that the student is capable of transmitting your project easier and more accessible way to the professional public or potential investors.
