This week IPIN 2017 the International conference on Indoor positioning and indoor navigation (http://www.ipin2017.org/) is taking place in Sapporo (Japan).

Joaquín Torres-Sospedra will show the lately research done at GEOTEC, presenting two papers (one of them at Best Papers Session) and two posters.

IPIN Conference is well-known because of its “Competition” for evaluating different approaches and envisioning new research opportunities for the indoor localization area, where no accepted standards exist yet. In this regard, Joaquín will also chair a Competition session “Track 3: Smartphone-based (off-site)” awarded by Topcon with a prize of 15.000 JPY.
