GEOTEC has been awarded with an European project
The EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) of the European Commission has selected the E04GEO project, in which GEOTEC Research Group of the Universitat Jaume I participates, within the 2017 Erasmus + SSA (Skills Alliances) competition. The call about “Space-Geoinformation” aimed at skills development in this professional sector.
EO4GEO (Towards an innovative strategy for competence development and capacity-building in the spatial geo-information sector supporting Copernicus user uptake) brings together 26 partners from 12 countries, including academia, institutions and private companies, active in the education sector and with knowledge of space and geospatial technologies. UJI is the only Spanish representative involved in the project, which obtained funds for four years.
GEOTEC is looking forward to start contributing next January 2018.
