GEOTEC’s contribution to CHI PLAY 2017
The ACM Special Interest Group for Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI) Annual symposium on Computer-Human interaction; CHI PLAY is taking place this week in Amsterdam. http://chiplay.acm.org/2017/
CHI PLAY is an international and interdisciplinary conference for researchers and professionals across all areas of play, games and human-computer interaction, also called “player-computer interaction.”
Ignacio Miralles will present a poster titled “Games, health and the city: Developing location-aware games for leveraging the most suitable places for physical activity”, framed in the Poster session: Purposeful games. http://chiplay.acm.org/2017/posters-purposeful-games/
GEOTEC’s contribution has to do with our commitment in tackling everyday problems – with a geospatial view – from a multidisciplinary approach, trying different theoretical perspectives and practices that respond to social problems, such as health.
