Elena Chicaiza is visiting our lab from September to November 2019, as a scholar profesor in GIS in the Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Geospatial Technologies.

Elena received her PhD in Geographic Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and has been instructor of Machine Learning, Statistics, Geostatistics and Geographic Information System at Escuela Politécnica Nacional and Escuela Politécnica del Ejército in Ecuador. Her research interests lie in spatial statistics and geostatistics, geographic information quality control & DTM modeling. She is founder of RLadies Quito, Ecuador chapter.
