Antonino is a researcher at the Information Science and Technology Institute, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (ISTI-CNR), in Pisa (Italy). His research interests include Active and Assisted Living, Indoor Localisation, Sleep monitoring and Wireless Ad-hoc Networks.

He received his PhD in Information Engineering and Science at the University of Siena in 2018 defending a thesis on “Monitoring indoor human activities in ambient assisted living scenario”.

Thanks to a grant of his host, Antonino will join to GEOTEC and, together with Joaquín Torres-Sospedra, he will explore new methodologies of representing data in indoor localisation scenario.
