#AGILE PhD School 2019 proceedings are out
The fifth edition of the AGILE PhD School took place in Tartu, Estonia. Local organisers Alexander Kmoch and Evelyn Uuemaa prepared an amazing agenda over the three days of the school, which included a full day on geovisualisation, and another focused on exercises to presenting research (presentation skills and styles), scientific writing styles, framing researching (linking literature reviews to research questions and methods) and communicating research. Compared to previous editions, the novelty this year (2019) was a full day on reproducibility and Data Carpentry hands-on materials. Also, with the invaluable support of Daniel Nüst (University of Münster), participants wrote their contributions entirely in R Markdown following a reproducible semi-automatic workflow to generate high-quality PDF documents ready to be part of the final proceedings (https://github.com/agilephdschool2019 .).
