Dashboard of #COVID19 in #ComunitatValenciana available
From the very beginning of the #COVID19 pandemia @geotecUJI put the spatial knowledge we have – acquired over the years and participation in projects – to the service of our regional government. For us, a small research group with great ambitions, it wasn’t easy to cope with the running projects and teaching duties, with this new initiative coordinated by Nuria Oliver, High Commissioner for Artificial Intelligence and the COVID-19 epidemic in the Valencian Community, and promoted by of the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana.
After three months of hard (and voluntary) work with colleagues from other Valencian universities, results have been published at:Â http://infocoronavirus.gva.es/es/grup-de-ciencies-de-dades-del-covid-19-de-la-comunitat-valenciana#p_p_id_56_INSTANCE_Qhe5QPMl4GNz_
GeotecUJI led the analysis of aggregated and anonymous data provided by mobile phone operators to determine the impact that mobility might have had on the contagion and to study what would be the most effective measures to prevent it, with the aim of adopting measures as far in advance as possible. This analysis was presented in the form of a Dashboard made with ESRI technologies
