Our colleagues Águeda Gomez Cambronero and Ditsuhi Iskandaryan are doing their PhD stays in Dublin and Bologna respectively from the beginning of September until December.

Águeda will work together with the Health Technology Design group under the direction of Dr. Gavin Doherty at Trinity College University. During her stay she is working on technology for mental health. Specifically she is focusing on presenting a comprehensive picture on the status of mobile games for mental health care.

Ditsuhi is working on predicting air pollution. During her stay at the University of Bologna, she will work with Professor Silvana di Sabatino and her group (Department of Physics and Astronomy AUGUSTO RIGHI – DIFA). 

The main task to be undertaken during her stay is observing and analyzing the various arguments and factors associated with predicting air quality, by implementing various machine learning methods. 

For example, conducting comparisons between results obtained from the city of Bologna, with those from the city of Madrid.
