@programasucre showcased in the Mednight 2022 – @GEOTECUJI in action, powered by @FECYT_Ciencia
As usual at the end of September, it takes place the European Night of Researchers. At UJI, this event is materialised by
the Mediterranean Researchers’ Night Goes To School (Mednight GTS), a European project made up of ten universities and organisations representing research and scientific dissemination in the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia.
The event is a way of bringing the scientific knowledge and science that UJI researchers are doing closer to Castellón society. GEOTEC members participated in the last edition. This year, we were there again to show the latest developments of the SUCRE project to almost two thousands participants.
We are glad to see that the effort and work developed during the last year is bearing fruit and is making headlines in local media (Cope, El Periodic, tecnologicos.com, ruvid.org). Since the outset, many people have contributed to SUCRE —David, Kike, Aida, Marcos, to name a few– and we hope that the project will continue in the future, especially now with the irruption of the term computational thinking in the new compulsory education curriculum in Spain.
Below it is a promotional video that summarises in 3 minutes the two main products developed in SUCRE. Sucre4Kids and Sucre4Stem
