The “Planetari de Castelló” and the Cefire Castelló Castelló have organized the fourth edition of the Conference +Ciencia (+Science), which took place on February 24 and 25 at the Planetari facilities. The conference targeted secondary education professors and included as speakers researchers and science communicators from all over the national territory, with a focus on the energy transition, astronomy, geology, and STEM projects.

Sucre4Stem, the GEOTEC’s initiative for promoting computational thinking and STEM vocations, was also there. We ran a 2-hour workshop twice, before and after lunch, to show how Sucre4Stem can be a suitable means for professors to create and develop creative learning situations in classroom that integrate concepts and processes from diverse disciplines such as maths, technology and biology. Fruitful and lively discussions raised among the participants and CEFIRE staff to make Sucre4Stem an useful means to support active learning in classroom. Thanks to all!
