@geotecUJI brings #SyMptOMS project closer to psychologists at #XICongresoAEPCP
On October 24, 25 and 26, the “XI Congreso Nacional y I Internacional de la Asociación Española de PsicologÃa ClÃnica y PsicopatologÃa” organised by Zaragoza University, was held in Teruel. Researchers Alberto Gónzalez and Nacho Miralles were presenting the work done inside Symptoms project, where geospatial technologies are used to help in the intervention and evaluation of the psychological treatments.
The symposium “Advanced Technological Characteristics Applied to Psychological Disorders” was moderated by Nacho Miralles and, in addition to Alberto and Nacho, three other experts described their experiences in the use of geospatial and information technologies applied to mental health. The press echoed the interest of the table.
It was certainly an enriching experience for GEOTEC research group. We had the opportunity to present the developments made in a clinical setting and listen to the needs and concerns of the therapists about the our project. The Symptoms team hopes that the connections made will serve to carry out new collaborations in the future.
