As an initiative of Somnath Chaudhuri, former student of the Master in Geospatial Technologies, currently pursuing his Phd in Spain, and serving as a Country Representative (India) and Program Representative (GeoTech), today we held an online Open Session that has brought together master’s coordinators and alumni acting as Country Representatives, with the new students (2022 cohort).

The new students had the opportunity to ask questions to clarify their doubts related to the administrative processes in which they are now involved and about their prospects as students of the master’s degree and later when they have completed their studies. In addition to knowing first-hand the experience of former master’s students who have currently found a job directly related to the master or have accessed a doctoral program to continue their studies.

The experiences of the former students and the recommendations by the coordinators, have been collected by the new students who have shown their desire to start this course and increase their knowledge and opportunities in the field of geospatial technologies.

This international Master’s program that is a cooperation of NOVA University Lisbon, University of Münster, and Universitat Jaume I will start in September with an innovative study plan that in Castellón will be focused on informatics, new media and GI basics.
