GEOTEC member Sahibzada Saadoon Hammad attended the prestigious Conference on Distributed Computing and Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), held in Salamanca from June 26th to 28th. At this international conference, he presented his research titled “Anomaly Detection of Trust Management in Internet of Things Systems” during the Doctoral Consortium session.

Hammad’s work is focused on enhancing the security and trustworthiness of IoT systems. His research centers on anomaly detection within IoT time series data, employing advanced machine learning techniques. Additionally, he is developing a reputation index for devices in IoT networks, aimed at improving trust management systems. This work is crucial for ensuring the reliability and security of interconnected devices in IoT ecosystems. The work is in the context of the COIoTIA project (PID2022-141813OB-I00).
