#Success stories from @geotecUJI in #Copernicus4Regions @CopernicusEU @NEREUSaisbl
Last week “The Ever Growing Use of Copernicus across Europe’s Regions: A selection of 99 user stories by local and regional authorities” – promoted by Nereus – was launched at the European Parliament, together with the European Commission and the European Space Agency.
The current publication portrays 99 Copernicus user stories submitted by authors from almost all of the Copernicus Participating Countries. These articles that, in parallel to its global and EU-wide dimension, Copernicus is increasingly bringing concrete benefits to the daily lives of our citizens. Their stories collectively testify to the Programme’s contribution in modernising the public sector and enabling it to deliver more efficient public services, thereby contributing to an increased quality of life and level of satisfaction for European citizens.
