@geotecUJI keeps pushing from home
Last Thursday, it was the 37th edition of the Geobreakfast, the periodical meetings to keep up with the pace of the projects and activities our research group is involved in or is planning to be involved. Our topics were the status of on-going projects like EO4GEO, A-Wear or Symptoms, the preparation of new proposals to fight against COVID-19 by the use of Artificial Intelligence, or the evolution of our PhD students,
Since the Spanish lockdown because of the COVID-19 pandemia, we have organised 3 Geobreakfast, which are quite a lot, since it was always difficult to find a free spot for everybody to attend when they were organised physically. The feeling of being a group in these weird times is more necessary than ever.
So, even if in the outside it seems everything has been frozen and chirping birds and nature have taken control, GEOTEC’s research activities contribute and expand towards a brighter future by the use of GIScience.
