@geotecUJI virtually contributes to @iclgnss
The 2020 International Conference on Localization and GNSS (ICL-GNSS) is scheduled to be virtually held in Tampere, Finland on 2020-06-02 to 2020-06-04 with IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society participating as a sponsor of this event.
In this edition, GEOTEC is remotely participating in the conference with five different research works. Three presentations will be given by ESRs students in our on-going project A-wear, and two other by one Erasmus Mundus Master student and by UBIK, GEOTEC’s spin-off.
New Cluster Selection and Fine-grained Search for k-Means Clustering and Wi-Fi Fingerprinting focuses on optimizing the computational overload of indoor positioning with Wi-Fi fingerprinting. It will be presented by Darwin Quezada-Gaibor (A-WEAR).
Privacy in Indoor Positioning Systems: A systematic review introduces, as the title indicates, a systematic review on Privacy for Indoor Positioning Systems. It will be presented by Sylvia Holcer (A-WEAR)
Lossy Compression Methods for Performance-Restricted Wearable Devices evaluates a set of compression techniques regarding their utilization in crowdsourced wearable data. It will be presented by Lucie Klus (A-WEAR)
Sensor Fusion and Well-Conditioned Triangle Approach for BLE-based Indoor Positioning deals with the integration of inertial data with our enhanced Weighted Centroid algorithm based on the Well-Conditioned triangle. It will be presented by JoaquÃn Torres-Sospedra (UBIK).
Support Vector Regression Machine Learning Tool to Predict GNSS Clock Corrections in Real-Time PPP Technique proposes a novel application of SVR to reduce the delay of GNSS corrections. It will be presented by Mutaz Wajeh Abdlamajud Qafisheh (Master in Geospatial Technologies).
We wish you a good conference and we are waiting for your opinion about the (forced) virtualisation of academic communication!
