Saadoon’s research stay at University of Cagliari
Our PhD student and Geotec team member Sahibzada Saadoon Hammad is in Italy at the University of Cagliari for his research stay. Saadoon has been doing research on the application of TinyML for anomaly detection in environmental sensor networks. He has published and presented his work in various journals and conferences.

He will spend three months in the Department of Physics at the University of Cagliari under the supervision of Stefan Milenkovic. During his stay will explore the application of the explainability in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for anomaly detection. His research stay is supported by the EDUC WIDE project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under Grant Agreement No. 101136533. We wish him best of luck and a fruitful research stay at University of Cagliari.
