“Conecta con la ciencia” [Connect with science] is its own scientific dissemination action promoted by the Universitat Jaume I . Every year, during the Science Week, various actions, practical sessions and scientific dissemination talks are scheduled for high school students so that they can come closer to the latest scientific studies and technologies.

This time, Sergi and Alberto went to Segorbe, 40km away from UJI where there is a small building associated with the university, to show the new version of Sucre4Stem to 50 high-chool students. They ran 3 sessions of 50 min each due to capacity restrictions of the room. Each session began with a brief introduction to SucreCore and SucreCode, followed by a practical exercise so that student in groups wired sensor and actuators to SucreCore and wrote code using the SucreCode web app.

The show was good and everything worked as expected, technologically speaking. The most important thing is that the students received the Sucre4Stem which attracted a lot of attention.
