The 11th of February is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and our colleagues Águeda Gómez Cambronero and Aida Monfort Muriach did a live presentation to the 5th and 6th grade students in the CEIP Cervantes of Vila-real.

The presentation included information about our group, who we are, what we do in our jobs, some examples of projects we have been collaborating with and also to make it more fun for students, it included a ‘Guess who?’ game with several women who made great contributions to science even if they are not always recognized.

The students enjoyed participating in the games and were very interested about the job we do in our group doing several questions about satellites and maps at the end of the presentation.
